(September 2012) HouseMart Ben Franklin Crafts donated $2054.00 to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s chapter in Hawaii. The crafts employees were able to raise donations through the sale of MDA’s “Lei of Hope” mobiles at registers. The money donated will go to help MDA’s Hawaii Children’s Summer Camp Program as well as other family support services.
HouseMart BFC in Hilo, HI was able to raise the most money of the brand’s stores. Employee Mona Tiogangco from the Hilo store showed her enthusiasm for the fund raiser by personally collecting over half of the total donated amount from that location and the most amongst all BFCs employees! Store manager Bert Wilson from the Hilo locale commented, “When our employees are motivated, they can do really great things. Supporting a great cause like the MDA made it easy for us to help and do our part for the local community and raise money.”
A big thank you to Mona and to all of our HouseMart Ben Franklin Crafts employees for their continued support of the MDA. HouseMart Ben Franklin Crafts has been supporting MDA of Hawaii since 2008.
